Chamber music settings constitute a main part of my work. The spectrum extends from pieces for piano solo like »Petrolio« and »Xlendi« to pieces with wind instruments like »Burano«, »Marginalien«, »Rumor« and »Laboe« or pieces with strings like the dodecaphonic »von goldenen Träumen schwer«, from text settings like »Drei Bilder« to the King Crimson homage »Crimson Gleam«. The »Quartet« for two string instruments and two keyboards or the different versions of »Ryoan-ji« – composed in the zen garden of the same name in Kyoto – are examples of contrasting sound colors. »Archet-en-ciel« for 3 glissando instruments was conceived in the sculpture park »Waldfrieden« in Wuppertal simultaneously with Peter Hölscher‘s liquid image. »Als Wahrzeichen eine Tomate« is a setting of Paul Klee‘s picture titles ...
