Some texts were written to be set to music. Other texts are simply texts, but are deepened and interpreted when set to music. I wrote the song »4 Kaninchen« when I was 17 and still play it today. »Garden of Love« and »Mad Song« (the second one in the tradition of the 'Mad Songs' – a popular genre of the 17th century of English music history) are settings of William Blake’s poems.
