bonnen trio ^{[ deutsch ]}

Since 2017, drummer Michael Pape, electric bass player Roman Fuchß and I are a trio, so that we can play chamber music of different styles as well as to practice free improvisation. The pieces set texts of different poets such as Friedrich Hölderlin or William Blake to music, and embedded between our own compositions, music by Robert Johnson, John Coltrane, Jack Bruce or Rahul Dev Burman can be heard. The 14-part instrumental suite »Transluzenz« was created on the theme complex "Music and Spirituality".

Additional musician friends were guests for single pieces: from my old band Fleisch Gagga Deistler, Caroline Thon, Axel Peters and Ernst Gaida-Hartmann; from my colleagues from the Ensemble de Plainte Bassem Hawar and Lothar Burghaus; as soloists on various woodwind instruments Christina Fuchs, Theresia Philipp, Lucia Mense, Norbert Rodenkirchen and Roger Hanschel; for additional guitar parts Robby Groß, for trumpet lines the Muscovite Andrei Goncharov ...
